Disney Princesses, Deconstructed

Slightly skewed and in the case of Belle, I’d argue that her ability to see through the Beast’s harsh appearance, saves him not her, it’s still depressing, nonetheless.
I’ll take Pippi Longstocking over these girls anyday.

Pippi was my absolute favorite character from books outside of Nancy Drew…I also idolized Punky Brewster and insisted my mother call me Punky.
